Chris leads the threat intelligence program at Coinbase, where he was brought on over three years ago to build a threat intelligence function. He and his team discover, track, and disrupt novel threats in the crypto ecosystem that threaten to undermine trust in and security of crypto(currency). Prior to joining Coinbase, he spent several years in the US Intelligence Community defending against a variety of APT groups, helping executive policymakers better understand emerging and disruptive technologies, and other things that he can’t talk about.
