THOMAS ROCCIA

Thomas Roccia is a security researcher and threat intelligence practitioner with over 15 years of experience, focused on the intersection of threat intelligence and AI. He is the creator of Nova, the prompt pattern matching and threat detection system for AI that won the SANS Difference Makers Award, and the author of "Visual Threat Intelligence." A long-time open-source contributor, he founded the Unprotect Project in 2015, a reference database on malware evasion techniques. Through SecurityBreak, he publishes research, speak at security conferences and trains security professionals at BlackHat and DEFCON, with a focus on making advanced techniques practical and accessible.
