Shashwat Jain is a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon, specializing in AI-powered bot mitigation and adversarial threat detection for global e-commerce infrastructure. In this role, he designs and operates real-time detection engines that identify and neutralize both traditional automated bots and next-generation agentic AI threats at massive scale — protecting Amazon's buyer trust systems, financial integrity, and platform resources from sophisticated adversarial automation.  His engineering work spans the full lifecycle of threat detection: signal collection and feature engineering, behavioral fingerprinting, ML model training and deployment, real-time blocking pipelines, and continuous adversarial red-teaming. He has built systems capable of detecting novel bot techniques — including LLM-powered agents that mimic human browsing patterns — and has developed frameworks for distinguishing legitimate automation from malicious traffic in a world where the boundary grows increasingly blurry.  Shashwat brings a practitioner's perspective to the intersection of AI, security, and e-commerce — where the adversary is also using AI, and where the stakes include billions of dollars in fraud, inventory manipulation, and platform abuse.
