Pierce Vaughn is a Senior Investigator at Chainalysis with over six years of experience spanning financial intelligence, cybersecurity, and strategic advisory work in the digital asset ecosystem. He began his career in U.S. intelligence community conducting cryptocurrency investigations before joining Chainalysis, where he now leads complex, cross-sector crypto investigations and helps institutions mitigate financial crime and cyber risk.

He holds an MBA in FinTech and Strategy from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, enabling him to translate deep technical insight into decision-ready guidance for senior stakeholders.
