Kimberly Goody is the Head of Financial Crime Analysis at Mandiant, where for the past 5 years she has led an expert team of technical and threat analysts specializing in identifying and tracking financially-motivated cyber criminals. She has extensive experience conducting analysis of complex cybercrime operations dating back to her time at NCFTA where she worked as a liaison between law enforcement and some of the world's largest financial institutions. Kimberly created and taught the first post-graduate course on financially motivated cybercrime for Georgetown University’s Security Studies Program, and has been intimately involved in the analysis and research work supporting dozens of public blogs and many hundreds of highly detailed private reports on high-profile threats including FINs 7, 11, and 12, BAZARLOADER, MAZE, and DARKSIDE.

A recognized expert in the field, Kimberly is also a frequent contributor to media outlets including the New York Times, the Washington Post, NPR, the Wall Street Journal, Wired, and Bloomberg among many others, and has presented at numerous notable industry conferences including CYBERWARCON, Mandiant’s MWise, FireEye’s Cyber Defense Summit, Wired Security, and FSISAC Canada.
