Squiblydoo has a bachelors degree in Linguistic Anthropology and has completed graduate studies in Cultural and Linguistic Anthropology. When changing careers to InfoSec, he brought his sense of deep research and practical application to malware analysis. For the past two years, he has regularly documented the behavior of SolarMarker malware for the purpose of decreasing its effectiveness and assisting others in identifying or stopping the malware. His blog posts have been republished by a former employer (Binary Defense), have been recognized by others in the community, and recognized by the SolarMarker developer.
